At best , I wld see Singpost result as flat. Expense up ...and more so its earning per share dropped. This counter has not recover and I still cant see any catalyst for it to return to a growth path . Hope I am wrong. |

Q3 - recurring income from the newly opened SP MALL More revenue from the holiday seasons and big events (e.g. Single Day, etc) + losses from e-commence narrowing Q4 - Full recurring income + more holiday seasons + e-commence recovering + more international mall revenue/profit. |

International mail revenue rose on the back of higher cross-border eCommerce deliveries, in particular with higher volumes from the Alibaba Group. This helped offset the decline in Domestic mail, which reflects continued migration towards electronic statements and bills. Operating profit rose 5.3%, the first in five quarters. The Postal segment had benefitted from higher International mail operating profit, which helped offset the decline from Domestic mail. |

SINGAPORE, 14 November 2017 &ndash Singapore Post Limited (&ldquo SingPost&rdquo ) today announced its results for the second quarter ended 30 September 2017. Revenue for the quarter increased 10.2 per cent to S$354.7 million, led by growth in the postal and logistics segments. Net profit attributable to equity holders decreased 9.5 per cent to S$28.5 million, as earnings in the corresponding period in the previous year had included a one-off gain from the dilution of interest in an associated company. Excluding such exceptional items, underlying net profit rose 1.9 per cent to S$27.6 million. |

investor memory is short. in sgx immediate profit counts.while in west market share, hope count first then profit. since simon joined. good things has happened 1 after another. it just need to hit that trigger point (increased dividend) to bring back the investors. or if those who need to sell has sold. the turn around (in share price) will happen. |

My feeling is that investors are not very forgving, whatever committed by the old management had turnovera new page by replacement of the management. Need to give the new amangement a chance to turn the company around, besides, they just took over about 1 year and don' t expect the miracle to happen. I am sure that kind of mistake will not be repeated and SP should be back on the right track.

so long must be major repackaging. the way i see it. since trage global is provided for. might as well take it out. return to seller with whatever reason that can be found. even if can get back some money is a win. if not resell it. at the least the reversal of losses due to this broken purchase can help. looking forward to better dividend |
