singpost is a very old company. so got to be patient with very slow and steady movement. everytime they buy share now they make the difference between the last share issue of new shares @ 1.7+ and the buy in price. all share holders benefit from these share buy back. expecting the dividend to slowly grow up from here as evident shows the current chair and ceo are steady. net debt already zero. maybe the rating agency may have second though about singpost now. |

why people assume neighbour will be cheaper? the race here is quality, efficiency. cost control. efficiency using machine/robots to do the sorting.fastand very accurate. quality, finding root cause problems to why parcel does not appear for the delivery man to take. cost control. using the best mode of deliver. airplane forlong distance, truck for mass dlivery to a meeting point. electric bike (contractor) to do the last mile delivery. the winner is the one who can get it organised properly.allowing delivery people at each segment to make a decent living, nowasting time finding and retrieving wrong delivery.with the help of active rfid,maybe parcel can talk and not just lay there without anyone knowing it. |

That' s right ! Being cheap has its reasons,... goods getting missing, long wait time to do things, Customs don' t know how to clear, then hehe,.... smuggler come in when Customs try to release quickly because of comments from the gov' t and from the investors,...then religions getting in the way,... people needing ' incentives' to do extra,... these structural issues can' t change overnight.
