Oct 18 (Reuters) - High natural gas prices and global competition for the fuel have driven more demand for thermal coal for power generation this year as countries try to wean themselves off Russian energy supplies and seek relatively cheaper alternatives.

Some countries are reopening mothballed coal plants to secure enough energy for this winter, while others are boosting production as they seek considerable profits from exports.
Here are some of the revived coal projects and government plans on coal worldwide:

With ICI4 coal future above US$90 Geo Q3 n Q4 r going to be " exceedingly large" . Hope someone will do a buyout too!

Therefore Geo & Golden Energy r going to continue to make huge profit into foreseeable futures despite ESG n political pressure. That also the reason why coal mines around the globe r in great demands for privatisation, buyouts or M&A. I believe when the Golden Energy buyout eventually concluded..its price will send Geo Energy to the moon. By then those who despise Geo will be left out.

and Europe out of gas and oil, Geo will have a fantastic Q4 with huge profits.

Hold on tight to your shares, you may not be able to buy back at current prices once the rally starts.
