Starburst chairman surrenders travel documents to CPIB
EDWARD Lim Chin Wah, the executive chairman of Starburst Holdings, has surrendered his travel documents to the anti-corruption watchdog on Monday, the Catalist-listed company said in a bourse filing.
Mr Lim is embroiled in a probe by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) and out on bail, Starburst had previously announced on Nov 17. In a filing the next day, the company said that CPIB had not requested Mr Lim to surrender his travel documents at that point.
Other executives involved in the CPIB probe are Starburst' s managing director Yap Tin Foo, chief financial officer Wu Guangyi, and senior project manager Josiah Lawrence Ng Eng Long. The executives were interviewed in relation to Starburst Engineering, a wholly-owned unit of Starburst.

if the case was really serious CPIB would escort the accused to where the passport is being kept and seize it, CPIB wont simply ask the accused to hand over the passport on a later date. They are simply following procedures while awaiting AG instructions and this will take at least 6 months.

You would have made many times more than the $25. Why worry abt the comms? If you believe it will go up again then just hold. If you contra, just sell off remainder at current and buy back.

Suggestion: Buy up the 3700 shares and wait for price to fall further then buy some at lower price and hopefully sell later all at a profit. Save your $25 :-)

i tried to sell at .215 and the order got only partially filled stuck at 6700 shares filled out of 10,000 any suggestion . if the day ends i would have sold only 6700 shares and will still becharged the 25$ minimum comission and stuck with only 3700 shares which will need another 25$ comission to sell which at current price would lead to a loss. any suggestions other than not being greedy and that i shouild have sold at .210 . that i already regret.. not to mention not selling at .230 and above. |
