Where are all the good news? SingPost office at Bedok Central cuts short the operation hours, only open from 10.30 am onwards. Before 10.30 am, you can get a stamp at the POPShop, which is operating under SingPost as well next to the Post Office. Cut cost. |

SingPost has another competitive problem.

U/stand this concept has taken off in most Indian metros - with many Apps using a " dark store" model. App revenue is from % of sales. Neighbourhood shops are now able to online customers beyond traditional walk-ins. Concept is similar to Grab etc for cars/food.  This concept was there in Dubai in early ' 90' s but on one-one model with no minimum order value. Local phone calls on fixed line was free. So many restaraunts would send food even for $3-4 Dhs order. (~US$1) Adaptation in SG would be slower mainly due to minimum order value.  |

There is something called " instant Delivery" in China e-comances, which by buyer received orders, from food, smartphone even fashions etc within 30mins - 1 hrs upon orders If it does happen in SG, likely to benefit Singpost especially with pick locker as destinations. example like during lunch can order desired item online and collect at nearby locker after makan Let' s see how so far only in China China&rsquo s Flash Delivery: 30-Minute Orders Transform Retail - CHINA MINUTES

excellent question ....  it has to be non-core .... idle real estate and  leaseback for 3 years ... do you think the model of post office is still viable or time for a whole new world.

Over 1000 Pick! Locker owned by IMDA and still expanding seen in my area. SINGPOST should make a purchase of the Vast Network and compliment their service. Can tie up with local big retailers like Decathalon or Uniqlos eg. to make deliveries to lockers near home at a lower deliver price. | ||||

Are you sure? Looking again at latest disclosures, Singtel has 22% and Alibaba has 4.6%. How do you get 56%? In contrast you look at the nominees, Singtel is holding its 22% under its own name, then you have Raffles Nominees at 14.2%, Citibank Nominees at 9.5% and DBS Nominees at 9%. I am surprised that there is not a subsntial shareholder aside from Alibaba within these three Nominee blocks. |

One other big issue that puzzles me about this company is its shareholding structure. Only two entities have been acknowledged as substantial shareholders - Singtel and Alibaba. But you look at the list of top 20 shareholders including nominees and ignoring Singtel that is also there, Raffles Nominees, Citi Nominees and DBS Nominees each own a sizable shareholding as well. One of these three will be Alibaba, but the other two are very large given no other substantial shareholders are declared. Is there someone else hiding beneath the surface? |

As accumulator of this stock, I think market tried to tempt people like me to add at $0.41 to $0.415 but I shall wait below $0.4 if it comes to that. Already have enough at $0.41 to $0.42 levels. Afterall, this company has no operational prospects except with some liquid cash and valuable properties acting as backdrop. Waiting for it to call it a day and return cash to shareholders.  | ||||

It has been some time i did not share on shortsell, but today was interesting so here i am. shortsell volume 4244.5k, value 1736418.5 sgd, average px 0.409, total volume traded 10645.9k assume 3800k is shortsell at 0.41, total 1558 000 sgd, 444.5k at 0.405, total 180 022.5, g total 1738022.5 sgd. morning we saw about 2000k support at 0.41 and some buying at 0.415, was very stable till shortsell attack after 2.30pm with 1800k sell down and stack with huge sell Q at 0.41, that was only about 4m trade down untill huge volume with another 2000k shortsell included into the matching of closing, that how we can have more then 4244k total shortsell. another possible is all trade done in 0.41 for the whole day are all shortsell, market panice to sell back to shortist at closing or someone just eat up all the selling at closing. no way market should sell at this px, one simple reason, with so much cash, even if Singpost do not reinvest or return as special div, all they need is just par the debt / bond etc which incur 10-12m a year, if 1H can make 5m, 1 year is 20-22m, which is 1 cents eps, assuming they did nothing to improve themselve, any yet still hold to about 200m cash. just my view, if you sold, good luck on investment for next counters, if you have not trust you data and calculations. dyodd |

This HDB property sale raises some questions. Is this sale the 10 HDB one off property sale flagged in the 1H result or a different property sale? There are 14 properties being sold here vs the 10 mentioned previously. Why? Also if the assets are non core why lease them back for 3 years? |

Waiting to grill them at the coming AGM. While it is correct to keep monitise the properties, keep so much cash for what? Any concrete plan to use the cash or not? If want to monitise all the way, what' s the plan for SingPost Centre? Dare not sell in order to have some recurring income? If no clue please close shop, delist and return money to shareholders.  | ||||

If tomorrow never comes Will she know how much I loved her Did I try in every way to show her every day That she' s my only one And if my time on earth were through And she must face this world without me Is the love I gave her in the past Gonna be enough to last If tomorrow never comes |
