No, I do not trust google source on many things. There are better medical sources that speak on boosting immunity in other ways. Thank you!

You havent googled to check? Urine enhances our immunity, kills the virus in our bodies and even cleanse our teeth. For thousands of years, many cultures practise that. I am not too sure about cow urine. But since a great culture like Indian practises it, it must be true. 😎

Am impressed,  Conman, you are able to write so much and make some sense to us on taxi business and digitalisation even when you have had a drink. We will consider and make our necessary stock adjustments in consideration of what you have said this morning. Thank you, sir.

Its business model (of renting out taxis at high prices) worked very well in the past when it enjoyed monopoly of the market and hence was able to accummulate wealth to become the world's biggest taxi company. That monopoly was broken about 15 years ago when the taxi trade was opened up (but still limited to a few operators), and then killed a second time by Uber/Grab since 6 years ago.
It has a digital app but not of much help because it is an in-house app supported by obly its own drivers. When riders try once, try twice, and get no taxis, they will try the Grab app. When you ask why CDG drivers why they pay higher rental to drive CDG taxis, they will tell you because it 'got calls'. But now since more people use the Grab app and less CDG app, it looks silly to continue to pay higher to drive that blue or yellow taxis with their HPs permanently on the Grab site. Digitalisation is not useful if it is not matched with the right business model.

Different people have different positions. Investors, taxi drivers, customers, taxi operators and train operators make their own choices based on their own interest. The end results are whether the business grow or drop and the share price up or down.
Because the bulk of this company's business is dependent on tax-payers' money from the goverment, it cannot grow unless, as you said, keep getting more contracts from overseas. Lets wait to see. Taxis : The new licence issued yesterday was something everyone knew in advance from at least a year ago. It doesnt change anything overnight because it was meant to put the private cab companies in the same regulatory framework for the purpose of control. CDG loses its right to stop its drivers to take Grab's booking to erode its own taxi bookings. This would cause some of its drivers to hop to other taxi companies because they charge lower rental (at least $300 a month, depending on which company) and allowed third party bookings ALL THIS WHILE. To the taxi drivers, the main problem is not being allowed to own the tools they need to make a living. This concerns the business model of CDG and not digitalisation or not. CDG has a digital booking app for at least 2 years already and yet you can see the long queues of its taxis at taxi stands, market and shopping malls. To the riders, the concern is whether they can get the rides cheap, fast, and always in brand new limousines. The loss of crirical mass in term of number of CDG taxis forced them to book private cabs, and gradually they became loyal customers of these private cabs and will wait for them for 5 minutes even at the shopping malls when a long queues of taxis line up infront of them. To the investors, they chase growth stocks which ride on tecnology and digitalisation of the world, not ones that are declining or running on-the-spot all the time. You have seen AEM, Nanofilm, and you will see Grab when it is listed.

So there is advantage to be taxi driver now. One can take both street hail and ride hail customers. Not limited to ride hail only. Unless one already owns a car, it might be better to rent taxi to drive.
Ride hail operators overheads will increase as they need to comply with additional license requirements. CDG brought on board a Chief Digital Officer in Feb. About time for her to show some chops. Awaiting updates on the Paris Metro and Australian bus tenders.

CDG business share price consider saturated. It business model only can justify current price range n hoping it to rise beyond that is irrational... | ||||

Totally no difference from the present except that all taxi drivers (regardless of companies) are allowed to take private taxis' bookings. Currently CDG disallows that although many of its drivers are doing it.
Unless these third party bookings offer higher fares than the present taxi booking fares (with booking fees), it will not be an advantage to the CDG drivers. In fact it could erode the tradditional taxis' booking and cause it to shrink. This means there is no marked advantage to drive CDG taxis compared to drivers of other taxi companies. It might thus be better to drive orher taxi companies since CDG charge higher rental but will gradually be unable to offer betyer bookings to its drivers. Taxi will soon say bye bye to booking fees with this change. |

Four ride-hailing firms bag operating licences from LTA FRI, OCT 30, 2020 - 5:30 PM SINGAPORE' S Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded ride-hail service operator licences to Grab, Gojek, TADA and ComfortDelGro under the Point-to-Point (P2P) Passenger Transport Industry Act. Grab has also snagged a car-pool service operator licence. The two licences have a three-year validity period. Ride-hailing service Ryde Technologies got a one-year provisional ride-hailing licence and car-pool licence. This will allow Ryde to fine tune its operational capabilities in order to meet regulatory standards for safety and service provision before it is considered for the full licences, LTA said on Friday. Under the new P2P regulatory framework, P2P operators with 800 or more vehicles on their platforms will be licensed based on the type of services they provide. Licensees must comply with the conditions of their licences, including meeting LTA' s safety standards and ensuring that partnership arrangements with drivers are non-exclusive. Existing taxi operators have been automatically transitioned from the existing taxi service operator licence to the new street-hail service operator licence. Street-hail service operators also received a limited ride-hailing licence for taxi call-booking services. The new regulations state that all operators of street-hail and ride-hail trips must publish the booking charges, metered charges per distance and other additional surcharges to commuters. For fixed-fare ride-hail trips, operators need to let commuters know the fare for the trip at the point of booking and publish the amount for any additional charges that may be incurred. An example of an additional charge is a fee for unplanned extra stops. With the new regulatory framework, the Public Transport Council will be able to enforce against fare evasion and overcharging by drivers on trips booked through licensed ride-hail service operators. Lien Choong Luen, general manager of Gojek Singapore, said the company welcomes the clause allowing all taxi drivers to sign up with any ride-hailing platform to provide fixed-fare rides. " These drivers will be able to enjoy an additional source of earnings by completing trips booked via the ride-hail app, while they continue to take on street-hail jobs," he said. " Ride-hail customers can also enjoy a more reliable ride-hail experience by virtue of an enlarged supply pool, which means higher availability of drivers and shorter waiting times." https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/garage/news/four-ride-hailing-firms-bag-operating-licences-from-lta |
