what was ur buy price n how long u have been holding? I have held this for over 5 years, started buygin at 1.6+ and now average is 1,2+. Dividends have more than covered the losses and my bet is eventual privatization

Interesting read on Keppel and got me thinking - Will Starhub or another Telco buy M1 or will Keppel use the cash they have now to buy Starhub and then restructure it and sell the whole telco business next year.
CGS International analyst Lim Siew Khee, who has been covering Keppel for years, believes that some of the projects up for sale are the Singapore mall I12 Katong or the Mumbai Urbania Township, among others. "We believe that by end-2025, Keppel is likely to close above $1 billion of asset monetisation, including [the] partial sale of M1 and RigCo," Lim writes in her April 24 report. Of the assets divested in the quarter, CGSI's Lim estimates some $245 million of gains to be recognised from these. |

I agreed that he needs to be aggressive in his strategy to grow the company. He is not incompetent as they brought him in to follow through the transformation that started before his time so he did a good job in keeping it going.

Singtel at $3.80 is now a fat cat! I hope that Singtel will make an offer to buy out Starhub. Keppel seems to lethagic to do anything with M1. |
