On 17 April, it was reported as below, bad news about aytu bioscience.

Two U.S. companies &mdash Premier Biotech of Minneapolis and Aytu Bioscience of Colorado &mdash have been distributing the  tests  from unapproved Chinese manufacturers, according to health officials, FDA filings and a spokesman for one of the Chinese manufacturers. Many of the unapproved tests appear to have been shipped to the U.S. after the FDA relaxed its guidelines for tests in mid-March and before the Chinese government banned their export just over two weeks later.


And today aytu up in pre-market u up, then someone in another forum said could be due to the report on 25 April 2020, as below.

Like u i also cant understand what the big fuss is about.

From reading the announcements from company, seems like a minor coup for this small company.
Got Aytu committing to buy at least 1.75 million units and help get FDA' s approval without Biolidics paying a single cent.
Cannot expect this small company to sign distubtion deal with big boys like J& J or Abotts right? Somemore given that they are only re-sellers of the kits that are made by another china company. Which also lead to another point, so if Aytu collapse or need to break agreement with Aytu,  Biolidics just stop purchasing kits for reselling, dont see major problems with inventory or huge production costs.
Also failed to read from the announcement in the distribution deal, that  Biolidics need to fork out any money.
So can only say i really cant see any downside to  the distribution deal.

I think more likely is that retail investors just got ahead of themselves and got too excited over the earlier announcements, resulting in the big spike in price.
However we can see that once the details of the actual deal was announced, cooler heads prevail and with realization setting in the price came down to a more logical level.
Do also remember that one week piror, this was trading only at low $3. So today' s price is already a massive spike of 30%, which correctly reflect the gains from the distribution deal with Aytu.


More likely the explosion in this forum is

 Alert Admin 		Oh wait, this is not new information. Zhejiang has always had the CE mark.

In order to export, they need approval from NMPA. Unless the situation has changed, this CCCMHPIE thingy won' t matter CE mark not enough.

But I' m not sure what the problem is here though.
 
There are many different kinds of antibody tests, not only covid. Got Hep-A antibody test la, HIV antibody test la. They cannot just say, ' This is an antibody test' . Got no meaning - test what antibody?
 
But no one would complain when a HIV antibody test manufacturer points to their antibody test and says, ' This is a HIV test' . So Biolidics just come out and say, ' This is a Covid-19 test' . Their packaging says IgG/IgM, and the correct people knows that it means that it' s an antibody / serology test. I' m really not sure what the issue is there.
 
They never say their Covid-19 test is a PCR test or it' s better than other tests. If you look through their website and download their marketing material, you can see that they make it very clear what their test does and what it' s for. It' s been there all this while.

They knew it?s just a normal antibodies test kit but they dare label it as Covid19 test kit. There are so many properly labelled antibodies test kit such as those from Johnson and Johnson, Abotts, etc and they don?t labelled them as Covid19 test kit. That?s the difference when the company is a responsible company that adopt good corporate practices.

What u said makes a lot of sense. If Bio does not have the confidence in their statements, they would not have brought the kits to be tested at NCID, and NUH, for clinical validation. 
Ext:
&ldquo The Company had supplied its COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits on the 3 April 2020, to conduct validation studies in conjunction with the National Public Health Laboratory/NCID. Additionally, the Company will begin a separate study with NUH commencing on 6 April 2020.
&ldquo The clinical validation to be performed at National Public Health Laboratory/NCID and NUH is to : a) verify the clinical performance claim in the product insert  (i.e. sensitivity and specificity)  using local patient samples b) evaluate the feasibility of using finger pricking instead of venepuncture sampling methodology to obtain whole blood samples.&rdquo

Seems that is an indication of transparency, sending their kits to be tested by two independent highly respected health bodies in S' pore.
Just food for thoughts lah.

We shouldn' t be here for speculation and controversial remarks made by people/even official figures with no medical background/history of making controversial and questionable remarks. 
i think the important thing is to focus on the facts of the matter and see results. 

those who won money, good for you, no need to boast/continue to make your point here. 
those who lost, honestly have no one to blame but yourself, no one forced you to buy. 

as far as I' m concerned, NUH and NCID won' t bother to conduct testing with Bio if their claims don' t hold a single grain of salt. Considering there are so many kits on the market now. 

as for people comparing dengue and covid antibodies, just want to clarify with you all that those are 2 diff things. And for those who claim false negatives/positives make the kit unreliable, please go and read up on medical news. There are few test kit that exists which is 100% accurate, even Dettol claims 99.99% confidence level.   Currently PCR test kits also give false neg and pos. This kit could be important in further identifying who has the common cold and who really had covid, only limitation is antibodies don' t show up immediately during infection. But it sure Beats swabbing everyone who comes to clinic with symptoms and wait for hours for results.
