Current price of $1.30 is about 25% discount from the Chairman' s price, good value play at present levels. Historically, the company has either maintained or increased their dividend payouts so based on 7c that was paid out for FY17, that translates to some 5.4% yield. The company' s business model focuses a lot on diversity of customers and inherently risk exposure. good times, bad times, it won' t be as exposed compared to some of the other manufacturers who have substantial exposure to key customers. Think VMS with Phillip Moris, AEM with Intel, etc.  Don' t forget there isnt another player in the region at least, that is a pure plastics player with the same levels of top and bottomline performance. Current valuations are extremely undeserving for a beast of their size - EV/EBITDA of slightly above 3 and 0.6x PB. Fischer Tech for instance was bought out at way higher PE and EV/EBITDA multiples and their profit and revenue base is just a fraction of STL. Quoted here from the CEO after lastest financial report:" We had an exceptionally strong 1Q2017, so there was a high base for comparison." ... 2017 was a record year for them. 2. I' m not tallking abt dividends, but rather share-dividend which has a direct impact on eps.  3. Also from lastest financial report ...    The Group continued to generate strong positive operating cashflow of S$6.9 million for 1Q2018. This contributed to balance sheet strength with cash on hand amounting to S$105.4 million! You might has missed out that they change their dividend payment to twice a year as per requested by shareholders during 2017 AGM. 2.5cts per share for HY2017 4.5cts per share for FY2017 Total: 7cts per share. Maybe can expect they give another 2.5cts - 3cts dividend this HY2018 ending in June 2018.   nqing87      ( Date: 26-Apr-2018 17:44) Posted: sunningdale has been in my watchlist from 15cents (pre-consolidation) until now.. i observed it ' cos it is interesting as it has been trading far below NAV at that time for many years.. only this couple of years did it rise ' cos sentiment for the markets it served has improved.. if i didnt remember wrongly, they increase their dividends some time back in 2016 and 2017, but it reduced dividends this year.. net cash after subtracting the debts have been around the same this 2-3 years.. net cash improved from 2014 though.. history of this 2 years have been good performance for sunningdale, but we must also anticipate the future..

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Im comparing apple to apple here.. cos q1 2017 also got suffer exchange losses.. so im assuming suffering same amt of exchange losses as q1 2017.. i guess i shld be more accurate in my statement.. the key point we shld take is the profit and revenue is declining, when we take out exchange losses out of the picture for both quarters..
