They can always adjust the premium base on how many days or last traded blah ah.. But they didn't use last traded price coz 10% lower lol.. So they only write up all favorable info

.......... prior to the offer-announcement and when prices were treading-up, there were clear " hidden hands/forces" selling big with intent of NOT letting mkt price cross $1.71. And the offer-document now trace-back (highest) market prices for only THREE (3) months instead of usual 24 or 36 months, which is typical comparison in privatisation exercise ...... why only use 3 months esp during height of pandemic when prices were low.

Am quite disappointed on the Low Ball Offer, particularly when it is coming from one of the board members/key shareholders. For a company with NAV of S$2 per share, they want shareholders to sell to them at more than 20% discount... How about if others offer to buy them out at S$1.55 per share, would they do so? Be fair to shareholders and i am sure they can get what they want.. |
