My friend from indo went malaysia for a problem that never went away for 4 trips. however 1 time came sg settle liao. he never go pte hospital but gov hospital. too cheap u also scared to go, its also good to get second opinion, a buddy got cancer was given 6 months by a doc then another doc see and went for treatment now 4 years liao still having kopi with me. just like how some stall cook nasi lemak taste good and another stall wont taste as good. thus the saying:  " The devil is in the detail" . its also luck depending on which doctor you see.  Once someone' s own life on the line, the perspecive might change. there are tons of bad thing you can find if you live in singapore. same as anywhere else in the world. i' ve travelled enough to see that no matter where one live, one can always find fault with the system. when one choose to embrace the system and learn to effectively manage it then life will be better. haters gonna hate as the younger folks would like to say. i am sorry if you feel offended by my post. I just came in to drop you a message: have a nice day, the day can be better if you choose to be.  of course there are days when the deal didnt go thru then car break down then kena bird shit and go home family member sick and maid give problem.
