It is bot about price dropping in the next few days but rather buying when the price is right. No one buys shares all all at one go. You may buy at 3 different prices like 27 25 23 etc. Directors are buying at 23.5 whereby current price is not very far from it. The point is the management/directors are prohibited from trading company shares before it is announced and typically at least one month prior to interim reports or two months prior to annual reports. The surging cannot sustain if no real good news. So, to sell is better than to buy now, as some ignorance buy the shares and would just dump it to cut losses when they couldn' t hold. Then you can buy up those cheap shares and have more shares in the company and receive more income from dividend.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Sheng siong made 3.07 cents in 6 mths while hanwell made 1.79 cents for the same period. Hanwell?s PE is only 7 plus while Sheng siong is 26 plus. In terms of NTA, Sheng siong is 25 cents while hanwell is 50 dents. Hence Hanwell is way under value in my opinion. Using a PE of 20 is 72 cents. It is only 27.5 cents now.

Not sure it is 2 wks or 1 mth under SGX guidelines(if I remember correctly). The coy has done a capital reduction few years black by returning money to shareholders( too much cash). This could be a possibility besides privatisation.
