China made up for the hydro shortfall and higher power demand mainly by increasing electricity generation from fossil fuels by 6.1% in the eight months through August, while India boosted fossil fuel-fired power output by 12.4%, data showed.

It was mentioned somewhere they need an AGM/EGM to approve the acquisition? Or is it a done deal? No time horizon given either.

There should be more than 1 shipment during a quarter. ASP is average selling price ya. Mr CEO was commenting the asp was higher than end reporting quarter m42 price or as per result releasing date price. He certainly did not claim that he can sell higher than m42 price. On the contrary to my knowledge, Geo has been selling at a discount off M42 price thru offtake arrangement with the banks. Learn to understand what you have read, and not jump to conclusion and make your own assumption

Golden Eagle has very little IC3, i would say it is quite insignificant to their overall mining assets, but the quality of IC4 is far superior to Geo with low stripping ratio. Anyway, as long as coal price continue to recover, the prospect look brigher now. The shorting activity of Geo shares has reduced siginificantly, and that is a major signal that the share price has probably seen its bottom and set for a clearer path to share price recovery.

No need to hope for q3, Geo will register a loss unless it can complete the acquisition of Golden Eagle. Btw, Geo always sell abt 10% lower than M42 rate becos they transact thru the bank on offtake arrangement. Should look forward to post-acquisition
