Look forward to your participation. __________________________________________________ NutryFarm has made recent announcements on its corporate results and developments: - With 2Q Sales Surging 615% with Net Profit of HK$0.46 Million Due to Durian Trading Business - Expansion of its Durian Business in Singapore with Established E-Commerce Company, EBuy Since December 2020, Nutryfarm has announced various agreements to sell a total of 1,480 containers of fresh durians from Thailand to major Chinese fruit importers. The total contract value of these agreements is estimated at approximately RMB 962.0 million as announced on 13 February 2021. Global Agricapital has fulfilled its obligations to Moonda for the purchase and ship 200 containers of fresh durians by 30 April 2021 amounting to RMB130 million. As at 31 March 2021, Global Agricapital shipped 35 containers to Moonda and this was recognized in the Group&rsquo s 2nd quarter financial results announcement where the fruit trading business recorded a revenue of HK$27.9 million contributing substantially to the profit turnaround in the 2nd quarter. Accordingly, the Group expects the 3rd quarter revenue to increase. The Company is intending to seek shareholders&rsquo approval for a proposed diversification of the Group&rsquo s core business in view of the Group&rsquo s intention to build these capabilities. Nutryfarm registered revenue of S$4.78m from the completion of the shipment of 200 containers of fresh durians worth $26.9million. Thats about 18 percent profit margin. I would say that is very healthy margin for such a big shipment. There should be more shipments to be fulfilled for this year. The above figues are extracted from the latest earnings announcement. NutryFarm reaps fruits of labour in Q2 from durian sale
NUTRYFARM International slid back into the black for the second quarter ended March 31, helped by a boost in revenue after shipping 35 containers of fresh durians to a customer.
The group, whose core business is in producing nutrition and health food products, posted a net profit of HK$457,000 (S$78,363) compared with a net loss of HK$5 million the year before.
Revenue came in at HK$41 million, about seven times its HK$5.7 million topline the previous year.
Subsidiary Global Agricapital Holdings (GAH) contributed HK$27.9 million in revenue from the fruits trading business. As at April 30, GAH has fulfilled its import purchase agreement with Beijing-based fruits business Moonda to ship 200 containers of fresh durians for 130 million yuan (S$26.9 million). NutryFarm expects Q3 revenue to also increase.
The group' s nutrition business under Nutryfarm (Chengdu) Biomedicine posted a 130 per cent rise in revenue to HK$13.1 million.
Earnings per share was 0.41 HK cents, compared with a loss per share of 5.15 cents the year before.
NutryFarm said its health supplements business continues to face challenging conditions, with marketing activities seriously impacted by the virus outbreak.
It believes that its new fruits business offers reasonable prospects for profit contribution and positive cash flow. It intends to seek shareholders' approval to diversify into the fruits business as a new core business.

Consumer staples have done resiliently well during the pandemic and it shows that gd times/bad times, we still have to consumer. Once Nutryfarm latest financials are announced, we prob can see the strength and potential of their durian trading business. BUT that would mean the share price will be much higher... The Board of Directors (the &ldquo Board&rdquo ) of NutryFarm International Limited (the &ldquo Company&rdquo , and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) wishes to announce that Global Agricapital Holdings Pte. Ltd. (&ldquo Global Agricapital&rdquo ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 11 May 2021 entered into a memorandum of understanding with EBuy Pte Ltd (&ldquo Ebuy&rdquo ) to expand its durian business activities in Singapore (the &ldquo MOU&rdquo ).
Under the MOU, Ebuy will import and distribute pre-packaged durians into Singapore from Malaysia and Thailand on behalf of Global Agricapital, and from the suppliers of Global Agricapital. Global Agricapital will ensure the consistent supply, quality and authenticity of the pre-packaged durians from its suppliers.
The parties expect to start the first shipment by 1 June 2021.
Established as an e-commerce company in Singapore since 2013, Ebuy is a leading distributor of fresh produce in Singapore, including daily fresh vegetables and fruits, to food service providers, retailers, restaurants and hotels. Ebuy has 13 refrigerated warehouses in 3 locations with 16 trucks.
