CES only managed to sell 40% of Colonial Park, leaving about 60% or 500 units. Selling price for the sold units = $1730 PSF on average, only $130 PSF above breakeven price of ~$1600 PSF. hence, profit margin is not a lot. Probably 7-8%. How does CES intend to deal with the remaning 500 units?

looks like the decline is going to accelerate since a lot of people might have bought above 90 cents hoping to sell at above $1.10.... But  now dropped until below 90 cents...and with the trade war going on....

All the property counters continue its sad state of affairs slumping month after month.  Despite all the rosy news everyday about record enbloc, high takeup in condo launches and ever-increasing new condo prices. Why the disparity???? |

Seems like somebody is betting on the height limit change in Scarborough. Good thing is that, CES has a piece of land with 3x size more than the Sunmoon boutique hotel land, 242 West Coast Highway.  |

For 1Q18, CES threw up a mixed bag of results with top-line growing 22.3% yoy and gross margin expanding to 21.8% (1Q17: 19.5%), but more than offset by higher administrative expenses and high foreign income tax. Nonetheless, as CES looks to launch its Colonial Park project, we remain confident of its ability to deliver strong results in 2018. Maintain BUY and SOTP-based target price of S$1.38, implying 48.4% upside.
