Relax. The 3 persons who are asking for a requisition of an EGM holds in total at 12% of the company (could be more as some shares may be held under nominees).
The biggest shareholder is Lee Thaim Seng who holds 22%. As the latter is not involved in asking for an EGM it is pretty obvious there are 2 opposing camps involved. The company itself is undervalued as evident from the numerous share buybacks that has been conducted over the last few months. My take for the trading halt is to announce the additional shares that were probably mopped up by the dissenting shareholders to thwart off the opposing side which currently holds more voting shares. Just a guess from the huge buy ups on Friday. |

yes. observed in recent years, company has been disposing its assets for $$ interesting time ahead esp since it has broken its side way trading patterns maybe some technical expert can share their views here

If there is no married deals from ECOWISE this time, then it is definitely not a good sign. On Monday, the stock price will spin downward as expected when halt is released. Prepare to run for short term player :(. However, for those who are holding on for long term, this counter may have a prospect n 1-2 years looking at the company financial health and their new ecofeed methodology (approved in SIngapore).

ecoWise Holdings halts trading after share surge, SGX query
Prior to the query, the environmental solutions provider' s share price surged 41 per cent or 1.6 Singapore cents to 5.5 cents as at 10.12am.
CATALIST-LISTED ecoWise Holdings on Friday requested a trading halt after receiving a Singapore Exchange (SGX) query about " unusual price and volume movements" .
Prior to the query, the environmental solutions provider' s share price surged 41 per cent or 1.6 Singapore cents to 5.5 cents as at 10.12am. It later hit an intraday high of 5.6 cents, up 43.6 per cent or 1.7 cents at 10.22am.
EcoWise shares have since pared some of the gains by 11.37am, trading 35.9 per cent or 1.4 cents higher at 5.3 cents. The counter was the most heavily traded by volume at the time, with 54.8 million shares changing hands.
No married deals were recorded in early trade, according to ShareInvestor data.

When you use your brain to think deeper.... I) why stop the momentum when the price being pushing up and call for a halt? II) Look at previous sessions, suddenly price going up last 4 trading and Friday push further up when previously the price were so stagnant for months. III) Monday dun think so will resume, likely gonna drop further with bad news of manipulation. Good Luck. | ||||

Hahah.... When price drop on Monday, BBs also run, price will drop further. Trust me....maybe Monday also cannot resume due to SGX not satisfy with their explanations. Lol...
