Wahloon is one of the strongest M& E company in Singapore, from what i hear from people in Construction. - Brunei Prince to Invest up to S$50 million in KLW Holdings Limited - MOU signed to acquire Wah Loon Group at valuation of S$200 million - KLW to raise approximately $270M for acquisition and growth Singapore, 15 November 2013 &ndash KLW Holdings Limited (&ldquo KLW&rdquo ) today announced that it will be allotting and issuing 500 million new ordinary shares (&ldquo Placement Shares&rdquo ) at an issue price of S$0.02 per share through a placement with call and put options over up to 2 billion additional new ordinary shares (&ldquo Options&rdquo ). The total proceeds from this exercise upon full completion will amount to $50 million. The Placement Shares will be placed to Prince Abdul Qawi, the eldest son of Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The Placement Shares will represent approximately 17% of the company&rsquo s enlarged share capital of 2,940,278,158.1 Prince Abdul Qawi was referred by KLW&rsquo s business associates as a strategic investor. He had decided to buy in the company for personal investment purposes upon recognising the potential in KLW. Prince Abdul Qawi shared, &ldquo This is my first foray into a listed company in Singapore. I am confident that I will be able to work with the Board of the company to further expand the businesses of the Group in the region. &rdquo The allotment and issuance of the shares represent a strategic initiative by KLW to raise additional funding and hence, strengthen the financial position of the company and enhance the company&rsquo s financial flexibility. From what i read, he was intrumental in the investment in Australian Property which helped KLW reaped a approx 5.9million capital gain on the sale. If you guys have some research, do share yea.
