But, the overseas properties are mainly Freehold. Anyway, the Sponsor is Strong and Reputable. That may be its saving grace. pasttime      ( Date: 13-Apr-2020 21:08) Posted: this is buying distressed asset. do not expect to have immediate gain. the value has gone back 1st week listing price. has property market drop to 2006 price? in the worse case close all hotel and wait. the bricks and mortar is much cheaper to maintain only. land in prime locations is worth value. remember omni marco polo was redeveloped into condo.  my thinking only. doyodd and assessment of your situations.
