It' s a joke 😮 , using US warships to escort all the oil tankers!! There' re thousands of tankers carrying all kinds of goods including crude oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz each day. It' s not realistic n too expensive!! and how long can do it if the war prolongs!!! 😭 Furthermore these warships r to protect the Aircraft carrier! | ||||

It is not only whether tankers can go through the Straits of Hormuz. The most important point people fail to see is Insurance. Even if tankers can go through the straights, they wont if insurers, esp Lloyds refuse to cover them. |

Brent crude oil surged passed US81.20 with war not limited bet US/Israel & Iran, now spreading fast to Middle East countries we may see oil prices reaching US$100 per barrel sooner than later.. This one should trend much higher together with all the other oil producers. I do not see how oil price can drop with the Hormuz Straits now closed and a protracted war that is treading into the unknown. |
