Trading Halt just because of this news article: PRESS REPORT IN THE MANILA STANDARD Reference is made to a report published by the Manila Standard on 4 August 2020 where it was stated inter alia that &ldquo Bread maker Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Inc. reported a 35% sales increase in the second quarter despite harsh lockdown measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.&rdquo (https://manilastandard.net/business/economy-trade/330491/gardenia-says-bread-sales-in-q2-up-by35-hike-in-2nd-quarter.html). The Company wishes to clarify that it called a trading halt as the Company was planning to release its half year results announcement on 7 August 2020. I doubt QAF wld privatised ....its either a profit guidance or some update on its Aus meat plant shut down ( covid19) Tmr might know ....if halt over weekend then can be an offer for its Aus operation which I hoping for. Dyodd

I think you are right . I guess it is profit guidance. ( Just my wishful thinking)😀 profit after tax Q1 2019 1,728,000 Q2 2019. 807,000 1H = 2,535,000 Q3 2019. 3,007,000 Q4 2019. 22,696,000 From above Q3 2019 alone, the profit after tax already exceed 1H. The Q4 2019 alone already exceed Q3 2019 more than 6 times. The Q4 2019 profit from operating activities was 21,991,000. So the profit after tax is solid one, not from exceptionally item. If 1H 2020 can maintain the profitability of 4Q2019, the profit % increase when compared to 1H 2019 would be huge.

Last year 6 Nov 2019 , there was a trading halt. Then result release on 7 Nov 2019. After that trading was lifted.
