newbie to trading. got a newbie qns. have a small position for this, noticed most houses put bullish reports for this counter but price not reflecting anything near their TP? any pros can help a newbie out?

great, hope this discovery can cause price to go back to 83 first placement price soon in coming days......high this year was 97 or so couldn't cross 1 sgd then..

All these houses are sucking parts and portion of the pie for a fee. Nothing is free for doing such roadshows. Equivalent to a sales fair promotion making it so flowery and gorgeous just like an IPO prospectus. This can then convince institutional investors to put more funds for their high operations costs.

Question: " ...has been shown..." .. please be specific here? shown via simulation or on actual oil wells? if shown on actual oil wells, please indiate where and the results before and after the used of the ultra sound technology. And why was there an increase oil flow after the used of the ultra sound thingy. Was there any cases where after the used of the ultra sound there is a decrease in oil flow?

Question: Drilling is not cheap, especially for offshore, how does the company intending to fund these operations? Issuing of multi currency bonds (at what interst rate?) and/or placements(more dilutions)?

Promises to drastically boost oil production.

Rex has revealed that it will be investing US$20m for a 67% stake in Rexonic, which will own a proprietary environmentally-friendly, high-power ultrasound technology for commercial oil well stimulation developed by Swiss partner Ogsonic AG, reports DBS Group Research.

DBS said Rex management explained that the technology is intended to replace traditional chemical methods and has been shown to increase oil production from 30% to 380%, both onshore and offshore.

The JV will target the oil & gas production phase, and being complementary to Rex?s existing offerings in the exploration phase, offers cross-sell opportunities.

Rexonic has already signed contracts with three major NOCs and could contribute a recurrent earnings stream within the next few years.

Aside from the promise of boosted earnings in the future, DBS said Rex will be basking in brisk drilling activity and new licence interest.

" Drill results from the first well in Oman can be expected around end-December 2013, and the second well around 40 days later. Not comparable because this is S-chips. Even though China Oilfields tech can be very profitable company, all the monies can be pilfered always by those directors crooks and accounts are all fake. Just look at the fate of China Minzhong now and you know the answer. The price has dropped so much from 1.15 {offered stake price by PT Nutrifood} to 0.80+ now. So, final conclusion, stay away from all S-chips. would be the safest.

no wonder only UOB KH and DBS vickers promoting this counter as they are the co-placemnet agent and underwriter for the company ..

Do share the same view. It's has been recovering slow and steady from low of 0.53, Sometimes, it is a blessing in disguise when BB shortists give opportunity for buyers to get it cheap. Because they also want to collect cheap by pushing the price relatively low. But, don't be overpowered by greed and to take profits when you feel is right time. This counter is high risk as the company is not profitable yet. Vest with care!

I dun think can hit 65 tmr. The reason for it to go up abv 60 may be due to short covering. If you short at 63 today, high chance to reap a big bonus by cny..lol
