I saw it selling at 0.67-0.675 Direct bought at 0.675 Cheaper than scrip dividend price even after adding in transaction charges lol Why people rushing to sell at 0.67 to 0.675?

My personal view, but I could be wrong - High interest may persist for a while more, but shouldn' t stay so high perpetually As lessees renew their leases or new leases signed, I couldn' t be sure but logically the increase in interest cost should be factored into the lease rates and the increase in borrowing costs will be eventually passed on to the lessees as time pass DPU should not be very much affected by the rising interest rates if looking at long term - Jurong East area was already planned to become the second CBD since many years ago in 2008 (they call it the Jurong Lake District - JLD) A lot of development started taking place shortly after the announcement Such as JEM, Westgate, Ng Teng Fong, Devan Nair Institute, relocating and rebuilding of JE Bus Interchange and now JCube is the next target to be transformed into condos and offices Even without the rising interest rates, rental rates in this region have been and should continue to go up over time As such, I personally think DPU will keep going up with or without the rising interest rates - CEO selling of shares I know, but I didn' t notice sponsor selling of shares There could be many personal reasons why the CEO sell his shares Maybe he wanted to buy a new condo or bungalow or Ferrari, and wanted to cash in his shares, who knows why Just because they sell shares, I feel we shouldn' t straight away jump into negative conclusions such as losing confidence in the company But if they start buying more, or if company starts doing SBB, that could be a good sign Lendlease share price drop after he sold the shares, but at the time market started downhill until the bottom near end Oct Him selling could be a good timing or coincidence Lendlease share price drop is not a standalone case, almost all companies were affected too Hence, I wouldn' t read too much into it I previously sold at $0.79 and bought back at $0.745 At $0.675 or even $0.68, I think this price should be a nice entry price in my personal opinion Queued twice at $0.675 and I didn' t get it I think maybe I should just buy at $0.68 next week hahaha

I am fine with not getting at current price. Frankly, confident a bit shaken by CEO' s sale of his shares followed by sponsor also selling on 28.2.23. Plus Lendlease has large high interest notes. Getting at 67.5 with trade fees is almost no different from DRP at 67.88. For now, I would be contented if dpu don' t drop for the next couple of years.

Current price 67.5, even lower than DRP price of 67.88! Next dpu is crucial and frankly, the sign is more inclined to the negative side. Will check back this space when next q results is released.  | ||||

On 28 Feb there was a matching closing of 71 cents with a couple of million shares traded. The next day, Lendlease Corporation Ltd announced via SGXNet that they have sold 2 million shares at 71 cents each. On that whole day the transacted price have never reach even 70.5 cents I think. Well done!  | ||||

I would have opted for DRP and even buy more if not because of the fact that CEO had sold bulk of his holding. It' s telling. Is he no confidence that the unit price will not go beyond 82 cents anytime soon? I know it is unreasonable for insiders to only buy and not sell but the timing was uncanny, the price started dropping after he sold. If he really need money urgently, a man of his standing will have no issue at all with access to funding, be it pledging his shares, collateral his assets or whatever, but outright selling his holding? I will hold on to my current holding but would not add anymore anytime soon. The dividend is still attractive and if it maintain, the investment is stil a positive one but it would be risking to add more now.

XD today and it hit low of 69.5. I have decided to take cash for the DPU and not participate in the DRP. With the enlarged unit base, obviously if the unit price appreciate/DPU increase, it will be disadvantageous to skip DRP. However, whatever the discount on DRP price, I believe eventually the market price will trend toward it. Can buy later if price subsequently indeed match/go lower than the DRP price, if instead the price increase, it will increase the value of current holding too so it' s ok.  | ||||

Concerted efforts promoting to retails? Personally I think it is safer to buy around $.69 or below, price may or may not come to that but as of next 12-month timeframe, more likely to hit $.69 than all the targeted prices. In fact, once XD, it is likely to drift toward 70 cents again.  | ||||
