no actually i seriously asking... sam goi is a shareholder of hanwell isit? noticed hanwell has not paid dividends for many many years...what is up with that? thye also have a hugeeee cash pile/ do you guys think they will pay a big fat dividend soon? hmm

Two positive news concerning one the major shareholders Mr Goi Seng Hui 1) One of China' s richest men is buying a commercial building in the heart of Raffles Place. Mr Ji Changqun, a Nanjing businessman behind Hong Kong-listed Fullshare Holdings, will pay $725.2 million for the holding company that substantially owns GSH Plaza, formerly known as Equity Plaza. The seller of the holding company, Plaza Ventures, is a consortium led by a unit of GSH Corporation, which is controlled by popiah magnate Sam Goi. GSH Corporation holds 51 per cent, partner Vibrant DB2 has 35 per cent and TYJ Group, Mr Goi' s private investment vehicle, has a 14 per cent stake. 2) Zhengzhou-based Henan Zhongyuan has become an associated company of GSH. This investment creates a strategic platform for GSH to launch into China' s real estate market, and will start to contribute positively to the Group in FY2017... Maybe people speculate that he would eventually take over Hanwell from the Chairman family |

Sgx query is a waste of time as the answer is always I DON" T KNOW. Do you think they are going to say ' ' We are in secret negotiation to buy a co and the info leaked out. " or " We are thinking of issuing a special div and someone leaked the info' . Of course they are going to deny any knowledge whether they know or not. How you deduce that just because the chairman deny knowledge means the speculative rise will stop is beyond me.
