An analyst of KTB Securities (Thailand)  stated in an analysis to recommend  " Buy"   shares of Sri Trang  Gloves  (Thailand) Public Company Limited or  STGT  with a new target price of 100 baht from the original 85 baht.
The net profit is estimated at 903 million baht (+ 404% yoy, + 114% qoq), with a growth from 1) sales volume of rubber gloves increased to 7,700 million pieces (+ 24% from Previous quarter), 2) average selling price of 0.69 baht / piece (+ 15% qoq) and 3) gross profit margin will improve to 21.0% (1Q20 = 18.8%, 2Q18 = However, there is a chance that 2Q20 earnings will be higher than expected.  If the average selling price is higher than the estimated.

The 2020 net profit forecast is still forecast at 4,200 million baht (+ 565% from the previous year), with earnings expected in the second half of this year to grow significantly from 1) the selling price of rubber gloves in 3Q20 increases. Up 40% at 0.95 baht / piece and will stabilize towards the end of the year, 2) utilization rate at 95%, and 3) gross profit margin above 25%.

However, the share price will continue to outperform from a still positive outlook and STGT currently trades at a PER of 2020 at 28.7x (+ 1SD above 5-yr average PER of peer) and still below peer traded at 50 times (above + 2SD). above 5-yr average PER), where the research department has an opportunity to adjust the 2020/20 earnings forecast and target price after the 2Q20 statement announcement.
 
We estimate a 2Q20 earnings of Bt903m (+ 404% yoy, + 114% qoq), driven by 7,700 million rubber gloves sales volume, + 24% increase from the previous quarter (from Q1 / 63 which sold 6,200 million pieces) and average selling price of 0.69 baht / piece, up + 15% qoq.  (From the average selling price of Q1 / 2020 at 0.60 baht / piece)
The price is increased + 5% per month compared to the previous month.  This is due to high demand for rubber gloves, while gross profit margin will improve to 21.0% (compared to 1Q20 = 18.8%, and 2Q19 = 13.9%). Sri Trang Agro' s Q2 result -- what a performance!
If I am not wrong, the result beat every single analyst' s estimation of its performance.
And it certainly beat UOB Kay Hian' s forecast of 660m baht net profit by miles.
Revenue from its glove business and natural rubber products came in at 15,256m baht.
Net profit was  1,094m baht  (+305% y-o-y).
If you include the net profit from a non-controlling associate, it comes up to 1,296m baht.
