Yes Shanghai is a big market, and the entire China is a much bigger market, with the anticipated swell of the middle-income rank amongst the Chinese in the coming decades. If they make it in Shanghai, there is a greater chance that they may be able to replicate their success elsewhere in China.

now at 0.55 cents abd hve the potential of 60 cents soon. The chilli crab and pepper crabs are selling at S$165 per kilo in Shanghai. They have 3 outlets in Shanghai and likey they will open another one too. The market in Shanghai is big. |

current half year report is 1.2 cents eps.. assume 2nd half same performance and total 2.4 cents eps, then 54/2.4 = ~22.5 p/e.. jumbo profit should be able to continue to grow.. market is forward looking & expecting jumbo to grow its earning.. BB will make the final call on what price.. not vested, just voicing my amazement at the big difference treatment in valuation for different sectors by the market..

i wont be surprise if ppl continue to jeep jumbo.. our sg market has 2 sectors that are irrationally over-value, 1 is healthcare, 1 is food/beverage sector.. given for instance breadtalk has around 40 p/e ratio, wont be surprise if jumbo continue to move up & match with the peers |

The Chinese dianping.com app gives patrons' feedbacks on restaurants, like our hungrygowhere website. You can read a few thousand patrons' comments on the China Jumbo outlets. Pretty interesting. | ||
