Thanks Bro for the view. As mentioned before, I intend to hold on to STA till end of the FY20. Basing on conventional wisdom on share valuation, STA is a gem - just puzzled as to why it is taking so long to be discovered. But you have said before that Thai investors are pragmatic lot and will only commit when the results can justify the buying. So with the results so super good, I guess the move is on now. Let' s see how STA will perform this week. Personally, I think we may be able to surpass the recent high of $1.75 before the end of the week. Cheers!

Really appreciate bro limjoeseph for your in-depth analysis, and all other forummers who have contributed positively to this STA topic.. been vested at 1.58 all the way to 1.23. Nitrile is a synthetic co-polymer, formed through acrylonitrile and butadiene combining. Nitrile gloves begin their lifecycle as rubber from rubber trees. They are then transformed into latex rubber. After they are turned into latex rubber, they are again reprocessed until they turn into the nitrile compound material. The extra processing removes all latex proteins. The extra step of processing in the glove creation process was originally why when nitrile gloves first hit the market, they were so expensive compared to latex. However, technological advancements have lead to more cost-effective practices in the making of nitrile gloves. Nitrile gloves are now just as affordable as latex gloves. The reprocessing and removal of all latex proteins means that nitrile material also has a lower allergy rate than latex. STA got the raw material from their own Rubber plantations, do not need to worry about the supply of the raw material |

So far in STA Thai, the answer is no. Frankly I personally do not think it can jump to 45 baht within intraday trading as few technical resistance need to be cleared but monthly movement highly possible if there is a run up in rubber prices over a one month period or on technical buying by shortists or foreign funds buying. I see a fair chance of breaking a above 41.2 Baht before end sept if all brokerage houses and banks start revising their target prices higher from tomorrow onwards as their recent 2nd quarters result projection was way below STA results release that even the same below mkt expectations were also strongly featured from Thai analysts probably explaining the disinterest in STA Thai stock. This also happened below the 14 baht level in month of march when STA was whipsawing and below its NTA. It was only after earnings release that every analysts in Thailand and Spore started issuing buying recommendations that STA price started breaking up short term resistance between the 17.50 baht to 19 bahts region that attracted strong technical buying. Hopefully the same scenario will play out from tomorrow onwards. Technical reversal from chart point of view is 29.50 baht for STA Thai and $1.47 for STA Sing which I believe the breakup will come upon analysts new TPs. Lets be patient and monitor the mkt tomorrow for signs of break up potentials from observing big volume intraday trades for the next few days. | ||||

Bro limjoeseph As you are vested on STA in SET, can I ask if it is possible for shares in SET to jump over 75% in a trading day? Has there been any cases like this? I don' t trade in SET so don' t know how price movements are like there. Reason I ask is that the current price of STA in SET is Tb 26.00, if we thnk that STA in SGX will hit say $2 tomorrow, then SAT is SET will have to rise by Tb 19 to Tb 45 (about S$2), That' s about 75% jump. Possible?

I seldom look/depend on charts like last time But base on the very good news latest result, some chartists may change to super bullish And also I know that both Uob and Citi research are quite zhun after so many years. And we face reality, current whole world situation, how is it going for next 3, 6 or 12 months. Definitely whole world sourcing for ppes to safeguard themselves.

For those who doubt that STA will perform badly in the next few quarters, their STGT company shares hold the key to STA earnings of 56% contributions enough to show profits for STA as long as STA breaks even on its 3rd quater result which I have yet to get even a tinge of their rubber performance. I have quite a wealth of priveleged infomation which I cannot divulge my source as no names will be mentioned as originating from Thailand end. Those information that I can release into this forum, I shall do it willingly. STA major sharehollders are all heavily invested in STA without any sales due to STA being as extremely undervalued as mentioned in earlier blogs. When STGT was listed, their STGT holdings exceeded certain percentage, by SET's laws and regulations, all vested owners had to sell which was reported in the Thai press. According to SET's rules and regulations all owners cannot buy STGT shares in the open mkt for a certain period upon IPO which I do not have the info. So as owners, on that score, do you think they will sell their own under valued shares at current price?? Frankly, they rather hold to rnjoy dividends as they will know the future performance of their companies, STA and STGT. In this respect, I will always say STA is still an undervalued counter for a buy and hold for 6 to 12 months time horizon viewing STGT humongus gloves quarterly financial performance on increased ASP for the next few quarters. | ||||

Like to straight my records straight, I am not invested in STA Sing but only STA Thai and I have been a medium to long term investor for the 6 to 12 months horizon. I dont speculate as a day trader or for short term trade. I have already released to you all I am holding a portfolio of STA Thai shares at average 28.25 Bahts. As STA is very undervalued counter, it is best choice for me to invest in this counter with excess cash as putting money in the bank to earn pittance interest is sheer stupidity.. My first round of STA winnings at 12 Baht average took me a time frame of 6 months hold to harvest my profits at the 17.50 Baht level as the mkt during that period was whip sawing. Pl do your own due diligence and do not do the blame game by following others in this forum blindly. Lately, I have been sharing on the potential earnings of STA for next few quarters as STGT earnings will be humongous. Short term corrections in a technically overbought mkt is healthy to correct mkt excessess. Dispel all the short term noises and stay invested for medium to long term horizon. | ||||

Although we bought stocks in attempt to profit from capital gains or to minimally beat against the rising inflation, but it is heartening and well-assuring that Sri Trang Agro group did not attempt to profiteer by raising the selling price of gloves during the most critical period in demand. This shows that the company has and practises good social responsibility. I hope that BBs, investors and traders can re-look into investing and putting faith into STA counter. To the many others that has bad impression on STA, such as reason that the owners had sold their STA shares. Do remember that STGT IPO happened in July. If they had retained to their STA shares AND also own shares of STGT after IPO, it will in fact boost their own personal net worth, receiving huge gains and advantages to themselves. But they had choose not to do so. In fact, the owners of Sri Trang Agro had revised both their holdings in STA & STGT (comparing pre and post IPO) downwards. And to those that mention that why the owners did not buy back shares of STA when it is falling. Do note that it is illegal to manipulate share prices. Please do not apply the scenes shown in drama to the real world. With STGT shares currently at 73 baht (S$3.21), it is noteworthy that STA shares is so much undervalued at 26 baht (S$ 1.14) on SET and S$1.21 on SGX, while holding 50.75% direct STGT shareholding. Note that 31% shares is in the open market, with the remainding held by individuals and other entities. STA share price should be minimally on par with STGT share price, when its core business (sales of natural rubber) is not suffering any losses, as STA will receive dividends payouts from STGT, and also 50.75% of STGT earnings will be accounted in Sri Trang Agro Group Consolidated Financial Statement. this is a year end target,not a few day target that will arrive this week. think we shud heed joseph VERY important advice its a MID Year-LONG term investment. there r ppl losing 6k in few days and blaming joseph privelge information unfairly including me last few week , so please trade carefully within your means.
