x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The problem now is Semb stands to lose out either way. If they sue MPM, they have to pay for court fees. Worst can happen to MPM is it goes bankrupt. This is a likely scenario as oil prices remain depressed. Semb doesn' t really stand to profit from this situation. The deposit should have been higher, I feel 10% is not enough and now they are paying the price. sheerluck      ( Date: 27-Nov-2015 09:13) Posted: Nothing will be defect free so contract will have made provision for corrections sembmar so experience in building rig will not have signed a loose contract. Now they have no use for the rig. Can't even pay even if they want. Either way they have to default on the contract. So might as well claim design defects and refuse to receive. Logically thinking where got such defects come out so late and they fail to catch it. Not like they first time build rig. Semb also mentioned if really got defect they have more than enough time to rectify it.
