The company already announced they are allocating $100mil for sbb. Media just reported whatever news they have. The drastically shares price dropped was done by those suckers with this news, hence company bought at lower price nothing wrong right? Cheers

Did some media company " assist" Seatrium to buy back at lower price. Seatrium immediately buy back once the bad news is out. CPIB needs to investigate the media companies?

Seatrium buys back more than 1.24 million shares as share price drops by nearly 10%
Seatrium bought back more than 1.24 million shares on June 18 after its share price dropped nearly 10% following news that Singapore authorities are not done probing the company.
Seatrium shares ended June 18 at $1.51, down 9.58% for the day, bringing its drop year to date to more than 37%.
In an announcement on June 15, Seatrium says that the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Commercial Affairs Department have on June 14 requested for information as part of their joint investigation on the company.
The potential offences are in connection to the long-drawn bribery case in Brazil, dubbed Operation Car Wash.
According to Seatrium, the potential offences are committed by then Sembcorp Marine and its " officers" under the Securities and Futures Act.
Just on March 28, Seatrium announced that the Attorney-General&rsquo s Chambers is agreeable to enter into a deferred prosecution agreement with a financial penalty of US$110 million, following probes made by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau.
The DPA is not definitive yet and is subject to the approval of the court.
In May, the company announced a $100 million share buyback programme. It started doing so on June 4, paying $1.77 each for nearly 1.06 million shares.

Seatrium falls as much as 7.8% amid heavy trading
This is after the group announces that it is involved in a joint investigation
SHARES of Seatrium : 5E2 -9.58% fell as much as 7.8 per cent on Tuesday (Jun 18) morning after the group announced last week that it was involved in a joint investigation conducted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Commercial Affairs Department.
The potential offences are related to a decade-old bribery case in Brazil, infamously dubbed &ldquo Operation Car Wash&rdquo .
The counter was down S$0.13 to S$1.54, with 43.3 million shares having changed hands as at 10.08 am. The last time it traded near this level was in May.
By 10.40 am, its shares had inched up slightly and were down 7.2 per cent or S$0.12 to S$1.55. No married deals were recorded in early trade, ShareInvestor data indicated.
On Saturday, the offshore and marine group, formerly known as Sembcorp Marine, said the potential offences are under the Securities and Futures Act and the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act.
On Mar 28, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau and the Attorney-General&rsquo s Chambers jointly announced that two former Seatrium executives &ndash Wong Weng Sun and Lee Fook Kang &ndash had each been slapped with five charges of conspiring to corruptly give gratification worth millions of dollars to officials in Brazil from 2009 to 2014.
Lee was the senior general manager of a unit within the group at the time of the offences.
Wong, who was CEO of the group at the time of the offences, was also charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly instructing two employees in 2014 to remove an e-mail containing evidence of the bribery.

More likely, it was due to poor weather and communications. This third rocket is gonna take into consideration all weather capability and improve on pilot-ground control comms. Hopefully it will succeed, and reach at least 3 dollars this time. Let us not abandon our noble project for the advancement of human kind!

The second rocket launched and crashed into south china sea in the begining, it could be due to poor engineer designed. May be need to launch another third rocket again by consolidate another 100 lots in 1 lot? | ||||
