Wait till you see when STGT starts to catch up and you will certainly know that their 3rd quaters result average selling price will exceed 2nd quarters selling price and 4th quarters will exceed 3rd quarters and thereon which is a no brainer. The hesistation to raise prices on the onslaught of the covid 19 i s because STGT is worried about being accused of profiteering. Now that the higher average selling price has become the marker norm, there is no reason why STGT will continue to sell lower by such a big margin. On that score, lets all of us can HUAT together for many quaters!!!

 Alert Admin 		STGT profits basis 2nd quarters was done on average selling for the gloves at a price of US$21 per box compared to mkt selling price of average US$60 per box. Taking a conservative figure of US35 per box to catch up with competitor price of Supermax gloves selling price of US80 per box as STGT is the new kid in town. After extrapolating from 2nd quarters STGT accounts figures on sales volume remaining unchanged at 7380 million bahts, I have derived at sakes revenue of 8098 million bahts basis average selling price of US$35, I have derived at a net profit for STGT at 4296 million bahts = US$38 million. STA 56% net profit is then derived at 2405 million baht = US77 million. Even if STA rubber profits breaks even, for 3rd quarter profits to be released in November' STA will still get to enjoy a hefty profits. Next week all banks and brokerage houses will start adjust up their target prices for STGT adjusted prices to match competitors' increase every quarter thereafter. As such, Citi Bank's base case of 71 Baht ($3.13) and a bull case of 88 baht ($3.88) coinciding with my buy and hold strategy until 1st half june 2021 is not far fetched whi ch is a moving target and will. e subject to change to suit mkt conditions. Next week onwards, due to upward target price, hopefully foreign funds will step into the mkt to buy up STA/STGT shares. Dip buying will be better for choice from next week onwards as the trend will turn to become your friend until it bends thereafter for few more quarters. Pl do your due diligence accordingly!!!

Eps for 1H = 1947/1540 =1.26 baht.
Assume net profit for 2H =2000m baht.(conservative)
Full year net profit =3947m baht.
Full year Eps = 3947/1540=2.56baht = 11c.
Price based on 10pe = $1.10
                          12pe = $1.32
                          15pe = $1.65
                          20pe = $2.20. & so on.
Pick you price & huat.

Lesson learnt - don' t buy a stock too ahead of time. This stock I invested in June before STGT IPO and didn' t cash out during the run above $1.70, my bad. My average entry price is not better off than those who just bought on Friday. The only good thing is I added many more lots than I initially planned to average down my price as I still believed there is a good chance of fantastic results. Next time I will buy closer to earnings results and create less opportunities for shortists to earn / to hurt my feelings. :P

 Alert Admin 		Well if Citi analyst say can, then there is a possibility.
Taking the 65% price increase over 3 days for Medtec as a guide, then STA' s share price will be $1.21 x 1.65 = $1.9965.
Many contributors here have stated $2 price, so quite accurate indication.

Good luck all investors of STA - the results just announced is really life changing for the company' s lacklustre  share price till now!!

Interestingly,  Medtec pre-result price was $0.975 on 11 Aug 
At closed yesterday of $1.61, it is an increase of $0.635 or about 65%!! 
Can STA match that??

Meaning, if you buy SET-STGT shares, you will receive dividends mainly on STGT earnings. (note that 50% shares is under STA, so naturally dividends declared will also be allocated accordingly to STA too, logically. But I can be wrong too, as I am not familiar with dividends reporting.)
But, if you buy SET-STA shares, you will receive  dividends on the sum of (50% of STGT earnings + STA earnings + any other earnings received from its subsidiaries and investments).   

Thus, group share price should usually fare higher than the subsidiary, unless in rare cases that the group is a miniority shareholder of the company
(then, in those cases, the company shall not be considered as a subsidiary of the group, on paper terms

After the share sale of Sri Trang Gloves Thailand (STGT), its parent company Sri Trang Agro Industry (STA) will reduce holdings from 73% to 50.7%.

(just for reference, how much of STGT STA owns.
