Banyan has been in expansion mode ever since listing, the performance/profit margin however seems to be shrinking which I think needs to be resolved. There were no major factors or issues in Q4 2017 plus it is a peak season, hence, that should be a good indicator of how well they can perform moving forward on a good quarter | ||||

you missed the big one: Banyan tree Laguna Phuket has a landbank of more than 1.1 million sq meter , when fully developed will have revenue $1.8 billion

Expand also must have sufficient profit. I use layman calculation: banyan has 400mill of current assets which generated around 15 mill of profit for 2017. That?s not even 5%. I would keep the stock if Q4 had shown around 10mil profit, my opinion only | ||||

I sold mine at 0.615, the results were ok but not fantastic, wait for it to go down again
if Q4 , which is traditionally the peak season, is only getting them 5 mill net profit, other quarters may be lesser |

I suspect they did well last quarter so much so to buy back Laguna resorts, hints of a multi bagger here and there

Very strange trading pattern, with large lot buy ups despite strong selling pressure. Will hold for now, anticipating a hotel management contract with Accor to be announced shortly. Definitely some news going on, and now bordering on oversold territories. Need a strong catalyst to justify its current price | ||||
