Good Investment plans for good growth ahead? August 29, 2017 Singapore-listed Tiong Seng Holdings and Ocean Sky International are jointly buying Sloane Court Hotel and a small adjoining plot for a consideration of S$80.5 million ($59.4 million) for redevelopment, the companies announced in pre-market exchange filings on Monday (Aug 28). The proposed acquisition is conditional upon the approval of shareholders of the vendors of the sites. Located in prime district 10 along Balmoral Road, the hotel with the small adjoining plot has a combined site area of approximately 3,617.9 square metres (38,943 square feet). The land is zoned for residential use, with a gross plot ratio of 1.6. |

so far nice to know it is still buying back its shares from the open market... . owners bought another 264K on 4th July and then again 192K on 7th of July .... This is good the owner is trying to buy cheaper and cheaper but he is not getting any more below 30 cents. | ||||

A joint venture set-up by a unit of Tiong Seng Holdings has exercised an option to purchase two freehold residential sites in prime District 10 for a total of S$21 million, revealed an SGX filing on Monday (17 July). With a combined area of about 1,246.3 sqm (approx. 13,415 sq ft), the sites at TS24-245L and TS24-246C in Jervois Road have a gross plot ratio of 1.4. The purchase option was exercised by TSky Development Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Tiong Seng&rsquo s wholly-owned unit Yuan Ching Development Pte Ltd (YCDPL) and Arctic Sky Investment Pte Ltd. The latter holds a 40 percent stake in the JV and is fully controlled by Ocean Sky International Limited. The acquisition will be funded by TSky&rsquo s internal resources and by bank loans. The proposed acquisition is also expected to add to the existing property development portfolio of Tiong Seng, which is engaged in building construction, civil engineering and property development. As of 9am today (18 July), the price of the company&rsquo s shares edged up by 1.59 percent to 32 SGD cents. |

it has set a mark like a lion sets it boundary at 38 cents .... slowly will march towards 38 cents and then crossover for higher targets of 45 and 50 cents .. good luck to all

sorry on the 14th June Owner bought back 400K shares not 1.8 million sorry for the mistake...... Owner has plans to buy back another 40 over million shares.. Definitely a scrip to watch out for .. revenues and profits have grown for this company.. It has book orders for over a billion dollars... dont know if the price is manipulated or not but it has the price limits set by SGX to buy back the 40 million shares unfortunately there are no sellers available to snatch at lower prices as no sellers in this below 28 cents as 28 cents and below the owner is grabbing all from the markets.

yes I saw that too.... but the promoters have bought 28 cents 1.8 million on 14th June, on the 28th June they had bought 95K shares as per the announcements posted on SGX..... dont know who bought 50K today for such a large price range... but it give a hint that the share is slowly going to march towards till price eventaully and higher...

Todays volumes crossed 907K which is 7 times its average daily volumes of 126K.... no filings by the owner so far as I saw earlier today..Looks like a big pool of common retail investors like us pitching in for a value buy. Getting more interesting indeed. | ||||

yeah thanks correct I checked the announcements made yesterday too.. Yes the CEO of the company bought another 394.5K shares yesterday and filed the report for the substantial acquisition. SO another 45 million shares yet to go for the buy back and acquisition .. Good luck to you all.

Good I checked on SGX / company information / company announcements and the company has started to buy back from the market the last declaration was on 29th May 2017 for just 86400 shares another 45 million shares buy back to happen over a period of time... Today i saw good activity more than 500K bought from the market .. Did the company buy again lets see if they make an annoucement ... Ha ha ha Jackpot of 50 cents will come definitely then no need to worry
