It was back at the time when Spore Pools had a special draw with $10m as the prize money. I had thought about what I would do if I win that $10m prize. I dun need $10m for my family and myself. Instead of letting all that money sit in the bank doing nothing, giving some of it away to the people who matters to me is one way to use money and love people. And then the idea hit me to set aside say $2m for myself and to invest the rest in Ascendas and a few other good REITs which pay above 6% dividend yield. 6% of $8,000,000 is $480,000.  Keep $150k to $200k for myself and family to fund our living expenses. The balance $280k to $330k .... I will use it to pay a monthly " pension" to the people who matters to me. Each will receive $1000 per mth for 12 mths. The following year' s payout will depend on how much dividend income I get.  This way, I can use money to love many people for a very long time.  I will also throw an all expenses paid 2-week vacation in Japan. The entire coach will have only my extended family. I will hire a local tour guide to plan everything and make all the arrangements. The tour itinerary will be fully customized and tailoured to our needs. Airfare, accomodation and food all covered. Only shopping is on their own. I think that will be fun and memorable. Budget for this vacation is 200k. If there is a cost overrun, there is room to accomodate another 100k.  That' s the power of money. That' s what having lots of money can empower us to do. Until then, this is just a thought. A dream. But then again, it is good to dream at times. Its fun. Trump wants Straits reopened and uranium handed over. Iran is sticky about retaining control of Hormuz and postponing the nuclear issue to later. Over the weekend, Trump talked about the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding soon. It looks like the only MOU he can possibly sign with the Iranians is an MOU to continue negotiating, ie. an agreement to agree. That' s all.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I just watched a Youtube video where this guy shared his observation of Ethereum. To summarise what he said, he said.... 1. If you want to trade ETH, understand that this crypto moves in cycles. 2. The cycles are more or less repeatable. So if you study the chart, there is a pattern which helps you to decide when to BUY and when to SELL.  3. Based on those cycles, ETH will trade sideways from now till Oct/Nov. It is going nowhere for now. But come Oct/Nov, we should see some action where ETH will move higher. His estimate of upside for ETH is somewhere at $3500 to $5000. Currently, ETH is at $2100 to $2200 region. 4. So if you want to trade ETH, dont buy now. Wait till Oct/Nov to buy when she is ready to move. 5. As Bitmine tracks the price of ETH, dont buy Bitmine (BMNR) now either. Buy in Oct/Nov. 6. For ETH to move, interest rate cannot be high. When the US Treasury yield is high, investors will park their money in bonds. Treasury yield must come down first. Then we will see a flight of money from bonds to other asset classes including cryptos in search of higher yield. In conclusion, for ETH to rise, interest rate must be lower. If we see that in Oct/Nov, it will substantially increase the odds of ETH rising.

Now he says deal not " fully negotiated yet" but will be " good and proper" .  For Trump, Straits of Hormuz must be fully reopen and safe. But Tehran still maintain they must have full control of Straits. Iranian official says there are one or two sticking points and US is placing obstructions to a deal and that talks could still collapse. From what I can see, Iranians are still adamant about retaining control of Straits and not giving up their enriched uranium. These are their red lines. But these are also Trump' s red lines. So its a case of Trump kicking the can further down the road. The Iranians believe Trump is stuck with being unwilling or even unable to continue with the war. So they are leveraging on his difficulty to hold on to control of Straits and keeping their uranium. Markets have been reacting positively whenever Trump feeds the market with good news about an end to the war. Then when nothing came out of it, traders will take profits and we see a slight retracement. So if want to open new positions, dont chase the highs and be mindful of position size.
