Seatrium&rsquo s $400 million notes issuance 1.7 times covered In a bourse filing on April 28, offshore and marine company Seatrium announced the successful closing of its inaugural $400 million, 2.95% fixed rate notes due in 2031. This issuance marks Seatrium&rsquo s first drawdown under its $3 billion multicurrency debt issuance programme. The order book for the issuance exceeded $670 million, representing coverage of approximately 1.7 times. Seatrium notes that &ldquo strong&rdquo demand for the notes from high-quality regional institutional investors &mdash fund managers, banks, corporates and high net worth individuals &mdash highlight the market&rsquo s confidence in Seatrium&rsquo s credit profile and growth strategy. &ldquo The strong support and confidence from investors underscore the progress we have made in strengthening our financial position and enhancing our credit profile,&rdquo says Seatrium CFO Stephen Lu. &ldquo We remain committed to prudent financial management and to building enduring partnerships with the capital markets as we continue to advance Seatrium&rsquo s growth agenda.&rdquo Seatrium notes that the notes diversifies its funding sources, enhancing financial flexibility as it executes its &ldquo robust&rdquo order book while maintaining disciplined capital allocation. The proceeds will mainly be used to refinance existing borrowings, support working capital and capital expenditure requirements and/or other general corporate purposes. Shares in Seatrium rose six cents or 2.6% to close at $2.40 on April 28. |

Shortsell yesterday was about 35% of trading volume of 20 million.  Worth about $16 millioin.    Those shortists who shorted on 18 Apr nmade some money.  Not sure if they can expect to earn more this round.  35% shortsell volume is not too high but if they tried to offload,  it will push the price up as the cummulated shortsell over days are rather high.

Seatrim tried but failed to regain its position.  It fell below the support trendline at low volume.    Ket see if it can do a recovery since FTI and SBM are both doing well

The equivalent of seatrim in US is TechpicFMC(FTI) and in Japan is MODEC (6269) and in Netherland,  SBM (SBMO).  FTI and SBMO has been going up but 6269 is a loser which has been going down since the last peak about 1 week ago.  6269 is going down because it is not doing well,  only able to secure some subcontracting work from China shipyard.  Not sure why Seatrim is following 6269

How Chris Ong helped Seatrium emerge from a messy merger between two shipyards to become a profitable offshore oil and wind giant By Nicholas Gordon and Angelica Ang April 23, 2026, 5:00 PM ET Over in Singapore's Tuas industrial district, workers are assembling a giant floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit, part of the infrastructure that separates crude oil from what's pulled up from offshore reservoirs. Next to it is a giant Goliath crane, which can lift up to 30,000 tons in a single heave a gleaming white Royal Caribbean cruise ship sits just a few docks away ===== paywall ====== |

No prosecution for Seatrium over Brazilian corruption offences, High Court approves US$110 million penalty This is the first deferred prosecution agreement approved by the Singapore court that involves a corporate entity [SINGAPORE] Seatrium will not face criminal prosecution in Singapore over corruption offences in Brazil after the High Court approved a deferred prosecution agreement in which the company will pay a net sum of US$57 million to local authorities.A deferred prosecution agreement is a deal in which the prosecution agrees to defer criminal charges against a corporate offender in exchange for its compliance with certain conditions. In Seatrium?s case, those conditions are the payment of a financial penalty and a commitment to overhaul its internal ethics and compliance programmes. Under such an arrangement, the company will not face criminal prosecution so long as it meets all the conditions over the agreed period. Should it breach any of the terms, however, prosecutors can revive proceedings. The deferred prosecution agreement was signed on Jul 30, 2025, making it the first such agreement approved by a Singapore court involving a corporate entity. In a bourse filing on Friday (Apr 27), the marine offshore engineering company confirmed that the High Court has given its approval, with no change to the terms of the agreement as originally signed with the prosecutor. Penalty paidUnder the agreement, Seatrium is required to pay a total financial penalty of US$110 million to Singapore authorities. However, because Seatrium has already paid around US$130 million to Brazilian authorities for the same underlying misconduct, Singapore has agreed to credit up to US$53 million of that sum against the penalty. The net amount payable to local authorities is therefore US$57 million, equivalent to approximately S$73.3 million. Seatrium said it had already made the necessary provisions for the payment in its FY2025 financial statements, and that Friday?s court approval would therefore have no material impact on the net earnings or net tangible asset per share of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.long-running legal matter stemming from Operation Car Wash, Brazil?s largest corruption probe, which began in 2014.The investigation uncovered a widespread network of illicit payments from corporate executives to politicians in exchange for favourable contracts with state-owned oil company Petrobras. In 2023, Singapore authorities began investigating Seatrium in connection with the corruption scandal. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau announced on May 31, 2023, that it had commenced investigations into Seatrium and individuals from the company for alleged corruption offences in Brazil.A year later, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the police?s Commercial Affairs Department launched a separate joint investigation into potential offences under Singapore?s securities laws, also linked to the probe.Investigations were concluded, with the company?s conduct addressed in the courts through the deferred prosecution agreement.Shares of Seatrium rose 1.7 per cent or S$0.04 to S$2.41 on Friday before the announcement. |

APPROVAL BY HIGH COURT OF THE DEFERRED PROSECUTION AGREEMENT WITH SINGAPORE AUTHORITIES
Singapore, 24 April 2026 - Seatrium Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to its previous announcements on the Deferred Prosecution Agreement ("DPA") with the authorities in Singapore in connection with Operation Car Wash. The DPA was signed on 30 July 2025 and is subject to the approval of the General Division of the High Court in Singapore. The Company wishes to update that the General Division of the High Court in Singapore has today approved the DPA. There is no change to the terms of the DPA as signed and agreed with the Public Prosecutor. Under the terms of the signed DPA, the Company is required to pay a financial penalty of US$110.0 million and up to a maximum of US$53.0 million of the payments made by the Company to the Brazilian authorities in connection with Operation Car Wash can be credited against the financial penalty. Accordingly, the amount payable by the Company to the Singapore authorities under the DPA is US$57.0 million (equivalent to approximately S$73.3 million¹). The Company has made the necessary provisions for the above payment in its FY2025 financial statements. There is therefore no material impact on the net earnings and net tangible asset per share of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

Definately not you.  Despite lacklusture performance of Seatrium, there is still strong support for the management. What is the benefit of buying this share when dividend is low and no increase in share price? Without consolidation it should only still be a 12 cents share today. The honeymoon period of the management is long overdue.
