16 Sept 2022: Wilmar International Total Share transacted: 7,608 lots Short Sale: 1,540 lots (20.2% of day' s transacted volume) Share Buy Back: 1,524 lots (20% of day' s transacted volume) Today, the share buy back was close to absorbing the short sale. Hopefully, the share buy back could overwhelm the short sale, and beat these short sellers into retreat. They drive the share price down with their daily short selling volumes which prior to today averaged close to 40% and the co' s share buyback at the low price range of 3.98 were quite hesistant compared to 2021 aggressive share buy back at $5.28 and more. Need more artillery power and intensity to beat the short sellers into capitulation. |

Just like Top Glove Lotsa share buyback when price chiong high high Price low low, company stay low low buy a bit (no bullets liao) Keppel Corp another Keep painting share buyback price (daily range many cents, including the daily highest transacted price) And share buy back, into price strength Not a good use of existing funds on hand, especially when there are so many outstanding shares. Buy into strength, OMG

Looking at the extreme high short seller vol. 40% .....and if SBB is on going ....I am not comfortable at all . Can you imagine when SBB stop ......what wld happen to the share price if this short selling continues ? Wonder what is wrong

Really, share price collapsed to current $3.98.... if you dont do anything to enhance shareholders' value, the short sellers will take the share price to the laundry..

SBB should be more aggressively at this low price, especially in prior year 2021, the Co was very aggressive in buying even where share price was $5.29. Also, in its investor relations section.. it mentioned it has various options to enhance shareholders value but not in its priority.. maybe, at this price it should be in its priority. If we look at the fund flows reported in SGX website , institutions are buying and short seling level is significant in daily volume - more than a third. Of course, it would be good where both Institution and Retail buy together with SBB. At this price SBB, could show that its share price is undervalued compared to its SBB purchases in 2021.. and put a floor to the daily short selling. |

Hi, I did few searchs recently. Share buy back mandate is from almost immediately after AGM to before next AGM or next FY result. Mandate from 20/6/2020, by 18/3/2021 (last SBB), total SBB was 52,828,100. Mandate from15/4/2021, by 20/12/2021 (last SBB), total SBB was 19,905,300. Current mandate from 21/4/2022, by 7/9/2022 (estimate another 4 - 6.5 moths balance for SBB), total SBB was 56,429,800 todate. There should be more SBB at this current mandate, and Agree is Wilmar should SBB more aggresssively on weak price currently, hopefully at latest, by early to mid Oct there is high vol, only then with high vol can acheive with higher price. Just for information sharing here, please correct if there is any mistake. |

For once, the management should do the buyback more aggressively at this price. It was very aggressive in buying back in 1st quarter 2021, notwithstanding the prices kept going up. Wilmar is an integrated agri ecosystem, after so many years of operations, it will able to take advantages of up and down palm oil prices...
