May be uptrend coming: May be can collect more, DYODD. Technically after pull back from 34.5, 35 then it rebounds to 35.5 at mkt closing today, which means a double bottom pattern has secured. (May be this time it can break out 35.5, Let' s see next week.) However at a macro level, issues like earning, dividend amount will prevent new buyers coming in. Happy that rmb getting stronger, a delay of bringing back cash from China benefited the company financial status. Cheers Have nice weekends ahead for like minded people. Still hold the same view, waiting for clearer picture. I am skeptical for any buy up ' actions' especially within .5 to 1 cent range because it seems that sellers have unlimited amount to sell. Only they know why they have so many shares from god know where. Now is mid 30s, If they manage to push the price down to low 30s, then personally I will start to add a bit again.

Hmm... a bit of price actions ongoing. 1 million shares sold down to 35 cents at 1501 hr, 1 million shares buy back up to 35 cents at 1510 hr plus put in 2 million shares queue at 35 cents and start attacking 35.5 cents. Personally I will not join the buy party(ies) in case buyers not resolute enough. Wait and see first. | ||||

cny exchange rate versus usd has improved from low of 7.3 to current 6.77. so their delay changing of cny to usd from dec to jan has bear fruits. looks like they got good people who has better knowledge of usdcny projections. after they change to 50% usd 50% cny their are quite natural hedge in usdcny pair. also the shanghai index has improved from low of 2893 to around 3166. wonder if their trading arm has made some money. also with increasing chinese government support to reduce cash flow problem of real estate. their npl will come down. also this will bring addition interest income. if they have any chance to get land from any npl now it will be of good multiple grow later. one will always wonder why my ancester never buy more land when it was cheap. these are some of the moment where land will increased in value at good rate with reducing risk. look forward to their next fy report to see how well they have taken advantage of their cash position in china recovery. |

to short at price of 35cents is very poor risk reward. fy financial reporting is just within 37 trading days. assuming report will be by end of feb 23. so far share buy back 259.61m shares. that is about 6.57% of issue share base. now if management play hard ball and say we will do a 1 for 20 share cancellations at 50cents on first come first serve basis by a certain date. and if not satisfy use the buy back shares to cancel. in that way market will react to buy the share price to near 50cents without company spending any $. when the final date come then cancel the 1 in 20 shares (about 197.5m shares) . in that way the per share nta will go up. people who want to short the shares to gain free cash wiall be burn at the moment of annoucement. can repeat this will increasing price over time. if dividend is good market will surely react positively. if money is needed for expansion later. can always do a share placement. by then share price will be nearer to 109cents. my eat full full wishful thinking only. no reality in it now. but can always be used as a weapon. by just saying that this is one posibilities itself by management will drive share price up due to over sold position. |
