I think those who got in at $0.23 IPO quite poor thing. If I remembered correctly, the company expanded by issuing shares lower and lower than IPO price to fund their multiple acquisitions? Then the price keep dropping and dropping which is normal since the directors ownself price the shares placements lower and lower? Now want to privatise, blame because of low market volume and trading interest, no point staying listed. Of course low lah, who know when you going to do another placement lower still for future acquisition? |

Took a quick look at SMG (vs AHC). SMG revenue like flatlined while AHC revenue growth is to the moon. Somemore AHC dividend yield is much higher than SMG. Imagine, can drive revenue growth and still give dividend, not many companies can or even willing to achieve this.

You' re right, there were high hopes for ASH, especially when the company partnered Heliconia (Temasek) to pursue investments in Southeast Asia as recently as July 2020. This never materialised and many are likely still underwater.

Asian Healthcare had in the past placement shares at well above 25cts if I' m not wrong. Surely those placees will complain the offer price just too low!

Lim of Doctor Anywhere makes 18.8 cents per share offer for Asian Healthcare Specialists
Lim Wai Mun, founder, CEO and chairman of Doctor Anywhere, is offering to takeover Asian Healthcare Specialists at 18.8 cents per share.
Lim has already secured irrevocable undertakings of some 79.54% of the total share base.
The offer price represents a premium of 18.3% over the one-month volume weighted average price of the shares.
&ldquo The offer represents an attractive cash exit opportunity for the Shareholders to liquidate and realise their entire investment at a premium to the prevailing market prices, without incurring
brokerage and other trading costs,&rdquo the offeror states.

Generous offer compared to SMG' s offer, which is clearly a low-ball price. 20.5x PE for Asian Healthcare vs 10-12x PE for SMGs.
